But this is not the end of the world, or the end of this nation. We've survived much worse. And then the Zen master said, "We'll see."

In the mean time, those of us who didn't want Obama to be president have to accept that he is. And let's not give in to the kind of paranoid fever dreams that have consumed the left for the last 8 years. Let us collectively take a vow tonight: no "Obama derangement syndrome". Hey, I am willing to take The Pledge: I will give Obama the same respect and honor that the liberals gave George W. Bush. Who could be against that deal??

Sad that the longest odds are on #5.
Everything else, spot on.

But this is not the end of the world, or the end of this nation. We've survived much worse. I saw a lot of this rationalizing during the campaign and immediately after it. This has a glaring and fatal flaw. Up until now, our enemies have been, by and large, enemies from without. Now, for perhaps the first time, the mortal enemies of the Republic are within, and occupy the highest offices in the land, with their hands daily on the levers of power, with all of the might of a Brobdingnagian federal government at their disposal. That means only one of two things: tyranny, or revolution.

Prediction number:
7) Obama will try to create the pretense of a right wing radical militia rising to allow him to implement martial law. He'll declare all elections will be put on hold until things stabilize. Conflicts at the ensuing protests will spark the Second American Revolution

The US hasn't suffered a terrorist attack by al Qaeda since 9/11, but we'll get at least one during Obama's term.Hussein IS the terrorist attack.

Sorry, but that is a ridiculous prediction. He does not have the weight to carry out such an act. Even though most of the folks in D.C. are deranged, that event would not fly. Enough of those people have families and friends and financial interests that would be irreversibly damaged. Aint gonna happen.

That was the statement that made me sure he was going to lose. It gave those wavering a comfort level and drove them into Obamalinsky’s grasp.

This writer expressed a little too much confidence in the restraints of the Constitution. Look at the unaccountable czars overseeing censorship—look at how the House has rolled over and look at the quadrupling of the deficit in a matter of months...
