House rules - everyone, even the kids, had to watch and understand what Glen was reporting. This is what happens when a government has been allowed too much power over it's people.
It had me in tears last night as we watched the DVR.
We can handle being underestimated because we're not typically an arrogant people.
But being pushed around is a totally different matter.
Push is about to come to shove in this country.
Thanks for posting this, Phree.
I respect Glenn Beck, tune in almost every weekday, and fervently hope and — literally — pray that his “no violence” stance can take us thru the next several years with our republic intact. However, I often turn away from his broadcasts.
Glenn *may* not have heard, or may not believe, Dick Morris’s assertion that Obama is such an ideologue that if worse comes to worst, Obama will consider his presidency successful if it lasts only four years, but starts our nation irreversibly down the road to socialism. [I would say fascism.] But Obama’s one principle is “If you can win, you should,” and Black Liberation Theology adds, “...by any means at [our] disposal.”
If Obama can take 218 “trustworthy” congressional representatives, 50 trusted senators, and “good old Joe” Biden behind closed doors, the group may be able to emerge with 1000 more indecipherable pages of legislation written by the Apollo Alliance “passed, signed, sealed, and law.” We will then choose between living under fascism or waging a French Revolution, and I fear Glenn may not choose the same side I will.
