I think we could count on her to rebut things that aren't true, unlike Bush.

I have disagreements with Bush policy but with the man personally, the one thing that got to me the most was that he wouldn't stand up for himself and fight off the idiotic lib attacks. I feel sure that Sarah Palin will fight back and I like it. JMO

3- The other thing she did when she walked into the governor’s office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as “pork”. She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the “when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we’ll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor’s jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor’s cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning—I imagine—that she’s packing heat herself). I’m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.

I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska. I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here’s the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it…It’s not about persona, style, rhetoric, it’s about doing things. I disagree strongly. You have to fight fire with fire. It cost those creeps NOTHING to go after Sarah; she had to pay attorney fees until they were so huge she was forced to resign. They broke her, they humiliated her and you want her to do NOTHING???

That hurt her reputation even among supporters when she was forced to resign, because many called her a quitter. They said “Reagan wouldn’t have quit.” And they were right. Sarah may not be able to recover from their attacks, ever.

Now comes news that Carrie Prejean is finally doing the right thing and SUING THE PANTS OFF THE PAGEANT! This is exactly what Sarah has to do: SUE THEM!!!!!!!!!!! As many times as it takes. Put THEM on the hot seat. Make THEM spend their money! Wipe them out!

This is war for the heart and soul of the country, nothing more, nothing less. You give a depraved liberal an inch they take 1000 miles.

EXCLUSIVE: Carrie Prejean Takes Legal Action Against Miss California USA Officials

RANCHO SANTA FE, CA - Carrie Prejean’s attorney, Charles S. LiMandri announced today that the former Miss California USA is filing a complaint in the Superior Court of California against Miss California USA officials Keith Lewis and Shanna Moakler, and publicist Roger Neal. The complaint cites damages to Miss Prejean including libel, public disclosure of private facts, religious discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Miss Prejean was fired from her role as Miss California USA in June of this year, following several months of controversy over her answer at the Miss USA pageant regarding same-sex marriage. Lewis claimed Miss Prejean’s termination was due to a violation of contract. Miss Prejean’s complaint will refute that allegation, and demonstrate that both the chronology and factual evidence clearly show she lived up to all her contractual obligations, but was fired, harassed and publicly attacked solely due to her religious beliefs.

Charles S. LiMandri, attorney for Miss Prejean, released the following statement regarding the complaint:
“Over the past two months we have worked hard to provide overwhelming evidence that Carrie Prejean did not violate her contract with Miss California USA and did not deserve to have her title revoked by Keith Lewis. We will make the case that her title was taken from her solely because of her support of traditional marriage. Keith Lewis has refused to clear her good name or even to admit any wrongdoing. Therefore, Carrie Prejean is left with no alternative but to take her case to court where she expects to be fully vindicated.”

The political death of Sarah Palin has been greatly exaggerated. In a devastating op-ed in the Washington Post, Alaska's governor exposes the cap-and-tax fraud that has nothing to do with earth's temperature and everything to do with government control of the economy.

She also exposes the stealth socialism ambitions of the Democratic left and once again points out the availability of abundant "shovel-ready" resources under America's soil, off America's shores and even in America's rocks.

Judging from the reaction from Sen. Kerry and the political arm of George Soros, one must ask: If Palin is spent as a political force, why is everyone on the left so worried and talking about her? ...
