The last two days have been very smokey in Las Vegas, 250 miles away.

Not to appear insensitive but this seems to be a story line we see each and every year at about this time. Has there been any talk as to how these sorts of fires can be prevented or at least their scope diminished?

Isn’t this what the statists want: depopulate swaths of rural and suburban areas and either move the inhabitants into inner city high rises or terminate them via Death Care? They talk about using bulldozers... but fires work just as well.

I think many at this site go into prayer auto mode when we read of such tragic events unfolding that affect our citizens.
Hopefully soon the weather will change to help enhance stopping this fire from continuing.
