Republican petitioners dragged into court.

Cleveland politics has become very corrupt. Most of the county government is Democratic. Recently most of them have been prosecuted for corruption. The local Republican organization petitioned the courts to be able to see the books of the democratic county auditor. A judge has called all the petitioners into court to prove that they are residents and really did sign this petition. no kidding. This is happening as we speak. Climaco is his lawyer. Here is an excerpt:

Climaco is seeking the signers' calendars and cell phone records for the past year. He is demanding their local, state and federal taxes for the last three years, too.

The subpoenas seek to determine whether the people who signed the application for the panel were county residents and taxpayers and whether they were put up to it by the GOP. Climaco called Frost's filing in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court "a frivolous lawsuit filed for political reasons."

This is clearly an intimidation attempt on the part of the Judge. It’s time to call his bluff and pack the courtroom. Citizens, unfortunately, get exactly the government they are willing to tolerate.

The little wolves sniff the air to see what the big wolf is up to. When the rancid, but to dems enticing, odor wafts back - green light, we control all police.

The judge in the matter should deny Climaco’s motion for these people’s tax records. The citizen’s have every right to petition their government for a redress of grievances - in this case - fraudulent spending, cronyism, etc. For the government to tell it’s citizens, ok you can see them, but first you have to show us your taxes records and give us access to anything we want so we can smear you instead of turning over the records. And then we’re going to scare you by telling you if you go through with this, we’re going to arrest you and come into your home and ransack the place looking for anything they can use against them - instead of just releasing the records.

We can expect this to happen more and more as all opposition is suspect, discredited and then pretty much outlawed.

Can someone forward this to Beck/Orielly/Hannity/anyone? I am not very computer savvy and cant quite figure out how to post on Becks twitter account. This story has gotten no coverage at all. This needs to come out. I believe the petitioners are not safe, until many more eyes are on this. Right now, the courts are free to do as they please and are answerable to no one. At least some national coverage will keep them in check and the petitioners safe.

What a great point!!!

I find this situation sickening. I dont know what to do to help these people. I am sure they didn’t expect this level of intimidation. The judge doesn’t seem interested in protecting them either. Do you have any suggestions? I have sent this story to Michelle Malkin, O’Rielly, Hannity, and I hope someone sends it to Beck. Anyone else you can think of?

There alot now!!!! Ohio is generally a flip flop state. There are alot of old time FDR democrats who are loyal to their party. Obviously they are pretty old now, and they are definately switching sides because of the healthcare debate. Also John Kasich is running for governor, he is very well liked (the current democratic gov. is doing a very poor job). If Ohio goes republican, the country usually follows...cross your fingers!!
