The University of Toledo's College Republicans are compiling a list of liberal professors who they claimed have a bias against conservative students.

The list will include professors who students say have let their political views interfere with the way they interact with students in the classroom.

UT College Republicans President Matt Rubin, a junior majoring in political science and public administration, said the list is not an attempt to bash professors who have liberal ideas, but instead, it is an attempt to speak out for students who may have been victims of the bias, which was then reflected in their grade.

wouldn’t it be easier work to list the non-libs?

in one hand, the college catalog...in the other, a bag of potato chips

There needs to be a nationwide movement to demand academic freedom for students and a balance of views among the faculty.

Yes, start with the faculty directory. Cross our the hard sciences and math and the 1 conservative in the history department. The rest are liberals.

“Makes good sense.”

It baffles me as to why conservative college students don’t take advantage of computer technology. How would this be any different than youtube? I have digitally recorded lectures that would absolutely floor the public. It includes class discourse among the students. If something like this was ever posted on the internet along with a photo of the professor who is lecturing, at the very least this professor would have a lot of explaining to do to his academic cohorts. Keep in mind, professors do not like other professors who make a bad name for all of them. They don’t want the same heat coming down on them the town halls are generating.

I wish someone would take the time to make this available to students like me. I do not have the technology skills to do it. Students need the ability to maintain anonymity so that we are not academically punished while still trying to maintain our GPA’s.

Please read my posts. I am a college student who has been asking for this. We need to do this just like youtube is being used at the town halls. I have digitally recorded lectures that would make it almost impossible for this particular professor to defend himself.

I wonder where the “Duke Rape Hoax 88” are now? Are they picketing the pedophile who was selling his child for sex?

(crickets...)

...where is Katie Couric?

I would suggest you go to Ann Coulter's site, anncoulter.com. When she puts up her own videos from one or another TV appearance, they play on a different site -- not YouTube -- which site bills itself, specifically, as ''the conservative alternate to YouTube''.

Might be what you (and your classmates) are looking for.

Good job!

My wife recently recorded a professor that turned everything in his class to porn. He was porn obsessed. She took the tapes and played them for the dean. The professor was called in immediately and her next class was totally different. With “minders” sitting in too.

The professor was dismissed at the end of the semester.

BTW She received an A for the class.
