“Too bad Hawaii is one of those states that absolutely forbids concealed carry by the proles. If a few of these racist idiots got their chest cavities ventilated this crap would stop right quick.”
With all due respect, you do not have the correct picture.
As a “white” who has lived in Hawaii (and the mainland) for years, I can assure you that the only correct way for whites to live there is for whites to “know their place” and avoid certain beaches and areas (I suspect the folks mentioned in the article had ventured to one of the ‘off limits’ beaches....not smart).
The plain truth is that whites are out-numbered.
Furthermore, ‘vigilante justice’ is alive and well in the Islands; even I have lived there long enough that I have the ability to call up a couple of people and ask that they get a couple of Samoan guys and break someone’s legs and I can assure you it would happen, and the police would not even bother to investigate.
Article said Makena, pretty popular beach for all. Never heard of any "off limits" beaches but don't doubt they exist.
Wow. So I suppose it won't be long until there are "Haole Only" drinking fountains and lunch counters.
This is simply not true. Caucasians still hold the majority in terms of population in Hawaii. Asians make up the second largest majority.
When you visit the melting pot of the Pacific you're bound to run into racial issues. We've got whites, blacks, Indians, Micronesians, Polynesians, Japanese, Chinese, Koreans, you name it we've got at least one of it. No where else in the United States are you going to run into this kind of ethnic diversity on a large scale.
I believe most of this "racial tension", from visitors to this great State, stem from their misunderstanding of the "local speak". When faced with confrontation it's fairly common for a local person to respond using a racially tainted response. While it is meant to burn there really is no racial hate behind it. If that makes sense. Which it probably won't because.... Well to be perfectly honest.... You don't live here. I apologize I don't know any other way to explain it.
