The Sayings of Chairman Barack ping to Today show list. Do you properly understand what our leader feels “is important”? If not, we’ll be setting up some special schools for you.

what "the president believes is important" for students to be successful in school.

What does he know about education? I'd like to see some of his school transcripts - kindergarten will be a good start.

And the Department of Education has helpfully prepared a menu of activities for the day. As you'll note above, 7-12th graders are to view quotations from Pres. Obama, discuss them, and strive to understand what "the president believes is important" for students to be successful in school.

Who the f**k does this poser think he is?

Well...I hope he tells them: To be successful:
First...Boys, pull up your pants, wear shirts tucked in, and tie your shoelaces.
Second...Stop using MF word.
Third...Don't call each other ‘bro and “ho.”
Fourth...Walk don't shuffle and swagger.
Fifth...If your family is already on welfare, don't get pregnant or father a child until you are married and can pay for your own child.
Sixth...Get a job, work hard, and don't expect something for nothing. Being a freeloader does not make you equal, it makes you less than equal.
Seventh...LEARN TO SPEAK ENGLISH - not Eubonics, not Hip-Hop, not Jive...speak the language of our country. And that goes for Hispanics, too.
Eighth...Don't shave off your hair, wear dreadlocks, dye your hair red or purple or some strange color.
Ninth...Don't get tattoos or pierce your nose, tongue, eyebrow area, or have several ear piercings. And don't wear 2" fake nails.
Tenth...Don't wear gaudy or flashy rings, chains, necklaces in multiples all over your hands and neck.

Those are just a start, if kids want to be successful someday. Wonder if he dares tell them the truth.

I’d like to see individual State Departments of Education at the direction of individual Governors order schools in their jurisdiction not to participate.

Could be the beginning of the next civil war. Battle lines need to be drawn.

Obama’s Little Blue Book and the Egg of Power
By Michelle Malkin, January 26, 2009

Tons of people have e-mailed about the Little Blue Book of Obama sayings that a firm called the History Company is hawking on its website. Yes, they really are selling them in 10-packs for $49.50 — and yes, the resemblance to Mao’s Little Red Book is striking. Weirdly, “Pocket Obama” has a plain blank cover and smacks of a gag — especially the last line [it was not a gag -etl]:

"Printed in a size that easily fits into pocket or purse, this book is an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama’s speeches and writings. POCKET OBAMA serves as a reminder of the amazing power of oratory and the remarkable ability of this man to move people with his words. His superb and captivating oratory style has earned comparisons to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, and this historic collection presents words that catapulted his remarkable rise to the American Presidency. It is an unofficial requirement for every citizen to own, to read, and to carry this book at all times-The History Company [the book is no longer listed on the History Company's web site -etl].

"From May 1966, student members of the Communist Party were encouraged to carry copies of Mao's Little Red Book of quotations. Acting under Mao's leadership, these "Red Guards" used his quotations in their mission to weed out intellectuals. With themes such as Correcting Mistaken Ideas and All Reactionaries are Paper Tigers, the quotations became the standard by which all revolutionary efforts were judged."

Product Description

This is the little blue book that right-wing partisans love to hate. Printed in a size that easily fits into pocket or purse, POCKET OBAMA is an anthology of quotations borrowed from Barack Obama's speeches and writings, intended to keep the momentum going for those inspired by his message of hope and change. The portable book serves as a reminder of the remarkable ability of this man to move people with his words, a primer for readers who want to examine the substance of his thought and reflect on the next great chapter in the American story. His captivating oratory has earned comparisons to John F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King, and this collection presents words that catapulted his remarkable rise to the American Presidency and set a true course for the future. Includes themes of democracy, politics, war, terrorism, race, community, jurisprudence, faith, personal responsibility, national identity, and above all, his hoped-for vision of a new America. POCKET OBAMA is essential reading as we pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and begin the work of remaking America.

From August, 2009...

The portable Castro: Cuba issues Fidel dictionary

HAVANA – Cubans accustomed to hourslong speeches, thousand-word essays and lengthy interviews can now get Fidel Castro at a glance, thanks to a new dictionary of El Comandante's teachings.

"Unemployment" and "History" are among the myriad words for which the 339-page paperback provides definitions — based on snippets of speeches, columns and statements dispensed by Castro during the 49 years he governed the communist-run island.

The publication, which the government says is meant to provide guidance to Cuban thinkers, calls to mind the "Little Red Book" of the late Chinese communist leader, Chairman Mao Zedong.

Oh, crap, just shoot me if that ever happens.

When it comes to quotability and wit, Barry makes Mao Tse-tung look like Oscar freaking Wilde.
