Holder Needs to Explain Dismissal of Philly Case

Attorny General Eric Holder noted it was hard to talk about race, but it was cowardly not to try. In that spirit, he should answer questions about the dismissal of a voter-intimidation case involving a black hate group in Philadelphia. On last presidential election day two black men in paramilitary uniforms, one wielding a nightstick, were reported harrassing voters at a polling place. The Justice Department was prepared to act. Samir Shabazz, head of the Philadelphia chapter of the New Black Panther Party for Self-Defense, and Jerry Jackson, a party member, were deployed 15 feet from the polling place "in military style uniforms." "Shabazz brandished a deadly weapon" - a nightstick, the complaint said. "Shabazz pointed the weapon at individuals, menacingly tapped it in his other hand or elsewhere. "Shabazz and Jackson made statements containing racial threats and racial insults at both black and white individuals" and "made menacing and intimidating gestures and movements directed at individuals present to aid voters." The police were called and removed Shabazz from the poling place. Jackson, a credentialed Democratic poll watcher was allowed to remain - and CREDENTIALED AGAIN for last spring's primary. The Panthers and their chairman, Malik Zulu Shabazz, were also named in the complaint. The Obama Justice Department dismissed the case. Even the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights questioned the "unusual" dismissal. U.S. Rep. Frank Wolf (R-Va.), has written to Holder four times. So have members of the Civil Rights Commission. Response from Holder? None.

By releasing and failing to prosecute these black thugs, Holder has not only played the race card - but he's dealt it from the bottom of the deck. He's also sent a clear message to the Justice Department about which perpetrators of voter intimidation are to be allowed to commit their felonies with impunity.

Holder doesn’t dare comment. That’s a photograph you can’t spin. IMHO.

They got away with the intimidation last election. I cannot imagine how much of it there will be next time.

Just another step toward CWII

They are trying to encourage this behavior. It’s the only way they’ll win the next election. Folks are waking up to the fact that he is a marxist, a racist and hates America.

Sue Holder in Federal court, usng a writ of Certiorari with Mandamus in support.

You will get the explanation but you won't like it.

Of Course we could always make him resign for a nice post in say, Kenya.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. noted that it was hard to talk about race

Well, Mr. A-hole Van Jones just LOVES to talk about race. Not hard at all! Maybe these two morons should switch jobs.

That’s exactly the message the pardoner of Marc Rich and the Puerto Rican terrorists is sending.

And maybe Holder, who was blabbering about being one’s “brother’s keeper,” can help his own brother living in that hut in Kenya when he gets there.

Right - and, by the way, the A-hole remark of Jones was harmless compared to his comments claiming the U.S. was complicit in 9/11, his statement that whites spray-poisoned immigrants, and his many years as a proud communist. He, Holder, and Obama are all birds of a feather and profess the same ideological value system. That’s why these birds of a feather all flock together. It’s not just happenstance!

The MSM has done a good job of covering it up but when Obama was in the Illinois legislature a nurse tried to save the life of an infant who survived a botched abortion. He refused to support her action on the basis that it might threaten Roe v. Wade. That’s INFANTICIDE - even in terms of present day law. So Obama can’t even hide behind the legality of Roe!

If the government won't protect the right of citizens to vote, I would imagine it would encourage vigilantism against those engaging in voter intimidation. Any resulting violence or bloodshed would absolutely be the fault of Holder for refusing to enforce the law.

If Republicans take over the House in 2011, Holder should immediately be investigated for failing to prosecute.

Good point. I know too many have been carelessly throwing around comparisons to “Nazis” and fascists. However, it’s a historical fact that the Nazis, in helping to overthrow the Weimar Republic, used such voter intimidation. And when Hitler became Chancellor it became part of the system. Of course, the old phrase “it can’t happen here,” applies. But look at what Obama and Holder are actually doing! IF THE SHOE FITS, WEAR IT!
