Woohoo. Looking at the dates, I think the Michigan parties will have a special kind of energy to them ... celebrating the beginning of the end for our Indonesian-in-Chief.

You were missed at the Mt. Vernon Whistle Stop yesterday afternoon. Good numbers, very enthused crowd. No fingerbiting acorn nor SEUI troublemakers, then again they knew about “Don’t Mess With Texas”.

JimRob, if you’re in Memphis, make sure you eat at Neely’s Interstate BBQ — southwest side of Memphis, about 3.5 miles from Graceland. You won’t regret it!

Travis Hankins for Congress(Indiana’s 9th) will be there! Jim, you should consider taking some time to meet with them. Travis, I know, would be your ideal candidate(based on your posts over the years)!

Wow, the Tea Party Exress is moving fast! Can't believe it is Day 9 (?) already!

We've been following the TPE's progress every night on Fox News. Hannity & Greta have been doing a great job with their coverage. Wish there was an hour-long nightly show about the Tea Party Express stop of the day!

Can't wait to see you this Friday morning in Hartford, Connecticut, Jim! :o)

been 2 Ford plants for decades...little trucks in one, F-series in the east end...

ups is afl/cio iIRC, which potentially could bus from across the country...but the venue prolly wasnt worth their while...

afterall, this is the place that keeps 'mayor for life' abrahmson in office [cept now hes gonna run for Guv] but I think hes actually resignin prior to the next level...

wish i coulda gotten up there...

I once talked to a UPS driver. I think he used to fight with the union. He said Louisville sucked as a hub because they got a lot of ice. He said Fed Ex’s was smarter with Memphis because the weather was better.

Sorry we missed the Louisville Tea Party. We drove all night getting from Dallas to Memphis arriving at 5:00 am. We got to bed about the time the rest of the Express was getting up for the day. We needed to let Chris get some sleep so we slept in until noon and didn’t leave Memphis until after 2:00 pm. No way we could get to Louisville in time for the 5:30 pm rally. We’re now finally caught up with the Tea Party Express here in Columbus and hope to be on schedule for the rest of the tour.

LAP is fern valley rd/I65...ranger/exploder plant...

i think that one is gonna retool for econ-cars though ???

couple yrs ago the big stink was jerry wheelin and dealin in detroit to keep lap from being shut down during fords self inflicted restructure...

i dont remember the details, but fomoco got a sweet tax relief package to offset retool costs of lap... jerry as guv is a pretty sick thought ...he lived it up a few yrs in Fla IIRC...came back and started mayorin again...hell he doesnt even campaign, merely puts name on ballot and hes elected...

you do know tha 'louisville metro' incorped all of jeff co. dont ya ??? 16th largest [geographically] city in the union...[pun intended]llolol...

Louisville was only adopted for the day...I live closer to Columbus where you stayed. But it was a nice rally wasn’t it?
Dad loved his t-shirt & button. And was given a couple of bumper stickers as I left that we put on his “wall”. So he feels apart of it all. He’s been watching FOX for more information.
