I like Charles K, but he's wrong on this one. Obama may or may not get his ratings back, but if so it will have nothing to do with health care. The people are on to him and don't like what they see. For example, my brother is a dem, lives in a liberal state, but he's not at all pleased with Obama's health plan. He fears he will lose the good one he has now. In fact, it's turned him off completely to Obama. It's happening all over the country, and unless Obama can pull it together by responding aggressively to some sort of real (or contrived) disaster, he will never again regain his media-created popularity.
I'll be seeing some democrats tomorrow, and I'll find out if they still like obama. These people lead conservative lifestyles; yet they voted for obama.
Correct. I’m from Obamaland and he’s losing it here with hardcore Dems. It is rare to hear one praise him, let alone defend him.
Your contention that only a crisis will help him is spot on, in that they’ll try. Obama is seen as an amateur, a poser and arrogant to boot. I cannot imagine the crisis that will be so well handled as to repair that image.
