Where on earth did you learn this?? Who taught you that you couldn't possibly know enough????!!!
Did teachers in an institutional type of school that teaching you this lack of self-confidence? Maybe teachers do this so they can preserve their jobs. If they make the child ( and later the adult) lack self-confidence in their own ability to teach really basic stuff, they get to keep their jobs.
Honestly, it isn't rocket science, and with today's technology and the Internet almost anyone could do it.
By the way, almost all learning happens in the home through the efforts of the parents and the child himself. What institutional schools do is organize a curriculum and send it home for the parents and child to work on **at home**!
There are tons of places that sell curricula for homeschooling. Often local Christian schools help out homeschoolers. It’s better than sending your kids to public school but you do need to be organized and disciplined.
