I'm just now on the net and have been commenting on Van Jones for the last few days. It was noted that this controversy wasn't covered in the NY Times, WAPO, ABC, NBC, CBS, (all the usual suspects) and so on.

Will they now still ignore the story? I'm going to check now but if they do cover it, I'll bet they downplay it to the max.

However, it will be prudent to see where he goes after his resignation. It’s unlikely that we’ve see the last of him, given the immediate efforts, by the State Run Media, to martyr Jones.

He will follow the example of Ward Churchill, hitting the lecture circuit where he will hawk his story of victimization for big bucks. Good chance the Center for American Progress will also take him back in some capacity.
