This Google search returned 1280 hits on cuba+spy here on freerepublic.com alone. Trying to equate Cuba with Kenya is dishonest.
What is going on is a continued full court press by all our enemies, large and small.
On the other hand, the Turks likely play by the traditional European/Ottoman rules, which means you spy on all concerned, friends and neutrals and enemies alike. I suppose you could consider it just a more aggressive form of lobbying if you wished to minimize it. But you cannot say it doesn't happen.
I realized that the media has an agenda and it really is against us. This happened over immigration when McCain wanted new fellow citizens instead of closing and enforcing our borders.
I quit all media at that time and haven’t looked back. Those free papers at the door in your hotel are stepping stones as I walk down the halls, I won’t even pick it up to throw it away.
I get all my news from blogs and could care less what mind crap they put out next.
