I stood up and said that isn't right, but it was a small crowd that day.
and the re-designation of Sept 11 into the "National Day of Service"
agreed it’s not bad... I just wonder what the original one said, i.e. before all the hoopla :)
umm, it was about the supplemental worksheets that went with the speech (which have since been pulled) which gave assignments to “assist and serve Prez Obummer”.
I was scanning the cable news media and only heard Crystal on Fox News mention this. Everybody else was busy explaining how great the speech was.
Leftist propagandists....all of them.
“Here it is...”
Yup. Lotta first person singular here. Ad nausea. Narcissist in chief no exaggeration. Kids in the grades aught to see through this self aggrandizement in the first paragraphs.
Good to hear. Hope you're in a district that allows for opt-out.
I keep telling everyone I don’t have a problem with his speech, just the “suggested lesson plan”.
That’s creepy.
LOL!:^)
Leave it to Tome Brokaw to say some hairbrained thing like, "life, liberty, and the PURSUIT OF SOCIAL JUSTICE"
Cordially,
Has he really talked himself into believing he was raised as a po’ chil’ of a po’ “single mother” who couldnt afford to give him things but gave herself a PhD in Anthropology?
Does he really see himself like Abe Lincoln writing on a slateboard in front of the fireplace in a log cabin? Except Abe Lincoln never got up before sunrise to get ready for morning prayers ...Allu Akhbar.
He’s a bigger liar and embellisher than Bill Clinton and that’s saying something.
What a schmutz. Meanwhile StepDad Lolo who adopted him and paid for school in Indonesia and Grandma Toot who paid for 7 years of Punahou are both dead and still under the bus.
I did not see “brokeback mtn”
but thanks for the info
It was a sandbag job. Dollars to doughnuts, the original speech was about “serving” Obama ala Serve.gov. When the hoopla ensued, voila—a benign, conservative speech.
I’m sure I’m not the first to posit this, didn’t have time to read the entire thread from where I left off last night.
I won’t see my son until about 8 tonight but I’m dying to ask 1) if he saw the speech and if so, 2) what he thought....he was supposed to be in science class at noon so hopefully he didn’t see it since it really has nothing to do with science!
We took our kids out of school during the address. My wife simply said that they had an appointment. Not lying; they had an appointment with reality...
Mine had the sniffles.
