The News’ reported numerous developers made tens of thousands of dollars in campaign donations to Carrión around the same time he was considering approving their projects in the Bronx.
Carrión also hired an architect for one of the biggest projects to design a renovation of his home. The job was complete in February 2007, but Carrión has not paid the architect.
The White House has repeatedly declined to comment on the News’ findings except to say Carrión should pay the bill, which is slightly over $3,600.
Crew asked Holder “to initiate an immediate investigation into pay-to-play allegations” outlined in The News.
“It appears Mr. Carrión routinely approved development projects in exchange for campaign contributions,” Sloan said.

I beg to differ. The types of employment opportunities most desired by inner city folks are not usually of a legal nature.
It really is sad. I sometimes am embarrassed at the lack of people’s ability to speak ‘normal’ English, like it’s either a Hispanic accent or a ‘hood’ Ebonics rap chant. I think a lot of people who employ people are looking for someone that doesn’t use the baggy jeans or the pierced look. Yet, it’s this culture of RAP that most African American youth are attracted to... Go figure.
Voting for Bozo was disproportionately higher among blacks also, so I guess they have them selves to blame for being out of work.
The traits you mentioned place blacks in competition with immigrants (legal and otherwise) for the same menial jobs. And the immigrants tend to have a stronger work ethic and without the sense of entitlement present in far too many blacks

What a nothing statement. All job loss curves follow something like a parabola: the low-hanging fruit goes first. It's only late on that the critical staff are lost.
A cut in the rate of job loss would happen because its a parabola, not because of anything the Government did.

Bring in another few million Somalis, Palestinians and Kenyans and make sure large sections of the southern border stay wide open - that should help.
