Obama tells Ohio gathering recovery plan working

President Barack Obama told thousands of cheering union members and activists gathered at Cincinnati's Coney Island park Monday that his economic recovery plan is working.

"We're on the road to recovery, Ohio, don't let anybody tell you otherwise," said Obama, who took the stage as the sky cleared following a morning that threatened rain.

“We’ve saved the jobs of tens of thousands of state and local workers, including teachers and first responders right here in Ohio,” Obama said. “Don’t take my word for it ask folks right here in Ohio.”

I have to constantly remind people that when Democrats talk about how ‘we’ are doing in any particular capacity, economic, employment, etc ... they are talking about the government.

I watched the whole speech (working a crossword and it was on in the background on Fox).

He is pissed, no doubt. He lied through his teeth from the beginning. He started by saying they passed the stimulus with no earmarks, lowered taxes on 95% of Americans, blah, blah, blah.

The man cannot lead this country: he only knows how to campaign. Worst president of all time and that takes a lot of work.

He doesn’t want to represent America but only his supporters. Oh well. 2010 will not be pretty at this rate.

If that was the primary audience he was addressing, then they know exactly how he is coming across...he is all union all the time. In the union’s eyes, he has been very successful. He will do all he can to save their jobs and benefits at the expense of those employees who are capable of making in the free-market society. Union thinking is a mental disease on par (if not greater) than liberalism.

Just getting his game face on for the big spitch to congress on Wednesday. He's been bitchslapped by Congressional 'rat leaders since he came into office, and his handlers have spent his weird off-and-on vacation coaching and prepping him to get some gonads. No more Mr. Nice Guy.
