I was shocked the other night to listen to a whole broadcast and them never once tell us who has clinched the chase. I guess NSCAR has not quite figure out how to promote a playoff and is worried no one will watch if they know some stars have clinched.
Do you have a run down on:
1. Who has clinched? [I think Steward, Johnson and Gordon.]
2. Who what the bubble looks like ie who can still make it in and who can still fall out of the chase?
3. Who has to do what to clich?

Thanks, by implication is everyone who is 15th or worse is mathematically eliminated?

SceneDaily.com has an excellent review of just that today.

Maybe you read something I didn't, but I didn't see Kyle's name on that list.
"Locking into the field: What drivers fifth through 12th need to guarantee Chase spot" That title is clear. Kyle is sitting outside looking in...
13th-place Brian Vickers needs to gain 21 points on Kenseth and stay ahead of Kyle Busch to clinch a Chase spot.
14th-place Busch is 37 points behind 12th. He needs to gain 17 points on Vickers and 37 points on Kenseth to make the Chase.

Good to see this post!
Was just telling my lady-friend that NASCAR pulls more attendance than all other sports combined... and that its fans are the most conservative in sports.
At least, at one time that was true... wondering if it still is?
