That’s a great photo! The wide angle makes it look like a 3/8 mile dirt track in Anycity USA...

I do not watch much NASCAR, but I always try to see the beginning of the race. I love the invocation, the National Anthem, and the flyover. It seems the National Anthem is being played less and less. Very seldom have I seen it performed elsewhere than sporting events. It’s a shame.

Thanks y'all for the compliments!
Someday when I'm rich and famous I'll host a party at the expensive box seats at TMS...
(in the meanwhile, feel free to send donations for beer and Cheesy Poofs to my FR paypal account)

Rumor
RACE START TIMES COULD CHANGE. Here is the money line...
"What I've heard is TV wanted the later starting times, but what they found is that when they had a 3 o'clock start time or whatever, people would come home from church and do other things," Clark said. That gosh darn Bible Belt...

That “bible belt” raised more then a few welts on my backside in my pre-formative years. Yes, I deserved it.
The article mentions a standard 1PM start time (eastern time, I assume) which is still 10:00am out here on the West coast. I record the races and watch them delayed so a 10:00am start time doesn’t bother me BUT for those folks who like to watch “live” but are opening their bibles at church instead of the doors to their entertainment center it could be a problem.
Different start times aren’t going to bother the true NASCAR fan, he/she will find it on the tube (no pun intended) regardless. If they want consistency, fine but from the mid-west to points west it’s still too early. Solution: more Saturday & Sunday night races.

Solution: more Saturday & Sunday night races.I'd like that, including a weekday evening race or two during the season.

I think you need one of those enviornmently friendly (aka “green”) cigarettes.
Mrs. Happydog made these little cake bars, flaky, soft & moist that go great with a fresh cup of Starbucks. Just saying...
After you mellow out don’t forget to change your drivers. No excuses allowed this weekend.

Oh, so that’s why your really going to the doctor.
Seriously, hoping for good results for your check-up. To have you fall ill and lose points just wouldn’t mean as much. Close, but not as much.
Looking forward to a good race. Can Kyle get in? Vickers?
Who is going to be the surprise fall from the top 12? J.J. had the mishap last week but this is a track where Jr. does well at and he does seem to be connecting the dots w/his new C.C.
