This pantywaist would be defending the brilliant parents who protested a speech president Bush planned to give school age children. Liberal politics guides every thought and spoken word of these mindless douchebags.

Don’t forget, NBC = GE. Gues who the biggest winner in the US is if Cap and Trade passes?

In 1930’s Germany, the children belonged to the Fuhrer. Apparently the “journalists” at MSNBC long for the days of old, where “parents not smart enough to raise their children” were replaced by the state and the dear leader.

These leftists in the MSM, as we all could have predicted, now conveniently leave out the lesson plan initially sent out, which was nothing more than a scheme to orient kids to Obama’s ideas before, during after the speech. And they act as if the speech today was, word-for-word, the speech that was planned a few weeks back when the administration’s ridiculous handling of this brought precisely the sort of reaction it should have.

And how anyone could take this arrogant, elitist POS of a reporter seriously is baffling. Or maybe few did take his nonsense report seriously.

Did they do anything when Reagan talked to them? And how many schools did Reagan talk to. I know for Bush it was just what? 4 middle schools, it wasn’t a Command Performance by the King.

Such raving hypocrisy. Dems hold hearings - at our expense, no less - when Bush speaks to schoolkids. But name calling by news agencies editorializing instead of reporting the news and insulting those who disagree when it's Obama's turn to speak to schoolkids.

Raving hypocrites with unmitigated gall.

My 4 year old twins are a little young for me to have to explain what AIDS is, or how gay people get it, or how you can prevent getting it.

I would prefer to have that conversation at the time of my choosing a few years from now, thank you very much.

I will instead read them the story of the grasshopper and the ant, and impress upon them the innate evil and unfairness of socialism.

The same President who’s brother lives in the equivilant of a South American slum shack which is about 10 x 10 in size.

This “President” is a total joke.

We kept our kids home today, but I’ve never been that bright anyway.

I just read the speech and I would amend NBC’s assertion a bit. If you object to Obama’s speech, you are too paranoid and reactionary to raise your own kids ;)

Hillary’s village can handle raising other people’s kids better, I am sure. Look how successful they are in raising up the foster kids and educating the kids in public schools!

I’d love to see a 16 yr old homeschooler go up against one of their newsreaders.

It would be hilarious.

Homeschoolers, of whom I would bet few to none let their kids watch this without critical examination,

AVERAGE in the 85th percentile of academic achievement.

You read the speech after it was amended after the outcry.

You have no clue, nor do I, what was in the intended original speech.

Not surprising if it is true that their parent company—GE’s CEO is supposedly having pillow talk with the administration....Don’t they also sell “obamagear” in the NBC store? They and NBC are the PRAVDA sister stations!

Yeah, but after a 16 year old savaged one of the news readers the liberal smear machine would kick into gear and try to destroy said 16 year old.
