I just read the Court order and there is one part that stands out as NOT good at all.
Judge Carter has ordered that Magistrate Judge Nakazato will still be handling the matter of discovery.
The only hope is that Judge Carter expresses that he is dealing closely with Nakazato on this issue.

Nakazato simply followed the rules and as Carter pointed out, Nakazato did not dismiss the motions with prejudice.
1.Judge Cater works with Nakazato on a regular basis and has a close, cooperative work relationship.
They understand each other. Carter is not going to worry about Nakazato torpedoing him.
2. Judge Carter does NOT throw close colleagues under the bus. Not his style. Should it become necessary he will find a work around to allow justice to be done.
