I wish all the members of the Bush family would just stop talking publicly and fade into a quiet and dignified private life. Everything they say is damaging to the Republican Party, whether its Jeb dissing Ronald Reagan (the SOLE reason any of them had political success); his brother GW getting us into an unnecessary war that brought Pelosi, Reid and Obama to power and spending taxpayer money like a lunatic; his father, “Read My Lips” trashing conservatives, pushing tax increases and giving Ted Kennedy some idiot “service” award. Enough already, please.

“If you gotta job to do, you better do it well.”

And if nothing else, the Bushes and the neos have set conservatism back 25 years. Thankfully, Che Guebama has advanced it 20.

Never happen.

She’s a big time lib. If she was an office holder she would right there besides Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe.

To borrow the words of a certain and esteemed fellow FReeper...

George W. Bush is "a RINO dog who kneecapped the Republican Party and sold conservatism down the river."

Purge the RINOs and the RINO apologists!

Don’t let your blood pressure get too high - even as we speak they are plotting to get brother Jeb into the White House.

If they succeed in nominating HIM, there will be a SECOND Trio to match Moe, Larry and Curley.

Actually, that is not what she said. It is what a different article said that she said.

Truer words were never spoken.

Jorge el Segundo and Juan McCain were Obama’s secret weapons.

Do you mean the Laura Bush of the “milking the bull” jokes at the National Press Club dinner? Or, perhaps, the Laura Bush who raised two daughters who would be considered somewhat trashy if they didn’t come from a monied, political dynasty? Or, perhaps, the Laura Bush who is against reversing Roe v. Wade? Or the Laura Bush who doesn’t seem to be able to speak clearly in opposition to sodomite marriage? Or, finally, the Laura Bush who seemed to think that opposition to the Harriet Miers nomination was “sexist”?

We would have been better off if Laura Bush had been sent on an 8 year fact-finding tour of Ross Ice Shelf during her husband’s term of office.

she should take a hint from her hubby. Grab a mountain bike and do a few laps - clear your head!

“These kinds of comments from moderates like the Bush’s does nothing to help the true conservative cause.”

“Moderacy in temper is always a virtue. Moderacy in principle is always a vice.”

It's my belief that CNN’s is twisting her words to fit their agenda. Yes she was courteous. We would expect that of her. Dick Cheney doesn't have to be. Wonder what Lynne would have to say alo.
