There used to be joke, about the advice an old state legislator gave to a freshman legislator, about dealing with lobbyists:

Son, if you can't drink their whisky, take their money, (expletive delted) their women, and still vote against them, you don't belong here.

We ought to add and not get caught with your pants unzipped to that advice, at least for those unable to do the right thing and keep their pants zipped in the first place.
