The Republican response actually came before the speech.
It was delivered by Sarah Palin, who then responded to Obama’s attack on her in his speech afterward as well.
Representative What’s-his-face did an ok job...but he was not the pinch hitter.
I read somewhere that Palin delivered the speech and Obama was providing the Democrat Response to Palin’s Address. lol
