FBI source is saying “something happened” — direct quote.
CG has the lead on it, according to FBI source.
Seems like a dumb place and awful day to hold an exercise...
So why would the USCG perform an “exercise” in the Potomac near the Fourteenth Street and Memorial Bridges TODAY of all days, when they know the city’s on edge and dignitaries (and Obama) will be using the Memorial Bridge to get back and forth to/from the Pentagon? Either some Coastie had a mortal brainlock or there’s more to this than an “exercise.”
