Rev. Peterson: Rep. Joe Wilson Speaks For Millions!

Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, Founder and President of BOND Action, Inc., released the following statement in support of Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC), calling on the congressman to stand strong and to keep challenging the lies spewed by President Barack Obama and his left-wing allies:

“Rep. Joe Wilson echoed the sentiments of millions of freedom-loving Americans when he shouted the words ‘you lie’ to Barack Obama. President Obama lied to get into office and he hasn’t stopped. Thank God Rep. Wilson had the courage to speak the truth. I applaud him—but it’s unfortunate that he was pressured by his fellow Republicans to apologize.

“Obama and the Democrats accepted Wilson’s apology so they can quickly move the discussion away from the truth of what is really in their disastrous healthcare plan. If weak-kneed moderate Republicans weren’t so focused on attacking Rep. Wilson, they would recognize this political ploy. Who cares about decorum and protocol when this administration is intentionally trying to destroy this great nation?

“This president is in trouble and Democrats know it. He’s barely been in office six-months, yet a growing number of Americans can’t wait to see him go. Thanks to conservative talk radio, FOX News Channel, and the Internet—the American people (especially whites) are educated and very aware of Obama’s lies and radical socialist agenda.

“According to the Pew Center report, Obama’s job approval among whites was 53 percent in April, but dropped to 42 percent in August (11 percent decline). Yet, among black voters, 95 percent approved in April, with only a 3 percentage point drop (to 92 percent) in August. Rep. Joe Wilson represents the voice of Americans who love truth. Despite coming into office with high approval numbers, I believe Barack Obama will go down as the most divisive and most despised president in U.S. history.”

Joe Wilson’s message was true and up front. His emotions got the better of him and he could not keep them inside. So what? Many of the jokers in that room booed President Bush. What about old hilllereeee sitting there rolling her eyes like an ignoramous?

Maybe Joe should have had more control but what the hell...people are standing up to what is right now and if his emotions won out...so be it. The truth was told and he spoke for a lot of others.

Our country is more important than political correctness. It’s PC that got us into this mess to begin with. all the touch feely crap going on while our country has been on the brink of destruction.

Go Joe Wilson and I would NOT apologize from the floor if I were him. He already made his apology to President Obama and that’s where it stops. Even if I lost my seat. I would continue to fight OUTSIDE and do everything I could to make certain the public knows what was a lie in the bill.

God bless you Joe...you fell on your sword for your country intentionally or not...you fell on our sword. We need MORE like you.

My only regret is that he apologized for speaking the truth.

I totally agree. You don’t have to apologize to lying thugs.

No one “deserves” their time in that office. What,is the POTUS now an affirmative action job? With Barky in office,I guess it may as well be,but it sure as hell shouldn`t!And that's why our freedom is so endangered!

nomad, please read my explanation. We had two choices, female or a black american. No way was a conservative going to get into office this time. My choice would have been a african american who loved his country. Not Hillary.

So the Hildabeast would be worse then the traitorous fascist piece of sh*t that`s occupying that office now? This guy is power mad, loathes America and it`s freedom, she does too,but his actions lead me to conclude that this nation is in the hands of a truly malignant megalomaniac. If anyone was ever capable of American death-camps,he is.

I made myself clear but you seem to want argue about affirmative action and now you want to say that I chose obama?

Nowhere did I say either of the two. Go rant to someone else.

I hope for the day our candidates are not known by color. That is my point. And Yes, I feel black americans or any minority have their place in any of our politics.

IF people did not vote for obama because he was black, we would not be here.

PEOPLE have their place in politics, not "minorities".DO NOT try to argue in the name of "minorities",I wonder if you know just how condescending that is?

And while it shouldn`t matter,I am a member of a non-Euro minority, and I find that extremely offensive,no matter who does it.I speak for myself, so NOT IN MY NAME YOU DON`T!

You just said exactly what I meant. But you are so enraged by something in your mind that you went off. Condescending because I believe that we should elect people based on their ideology and experience instead of color? You are right, I did not know that was a bad thing considering Obama is in office because he is African American despite his radical past.

And yes I wish the first African American president had been one who loves America.

Have a nice day!

I won’t be answering your rants again.
