While I agree with Joe Wilson that Obama lies, I don't think this was an appropriate venue to speak out. My husband points out that these kinds of comments are par for the course in Great Britain.
On the other hand, Obama had the audacity to speak to both bodies of congress and flagrantly lie to them and to the nation; his lies and obfuscations regarding his goal to create a single-payer health care system are an insult to Americans.
This president does not deserve the protocol afforded to him. My real belief is that I wish every Republican and Independent who sees through his government control agenda had joined with Joe Wilson to tell him, "You lie".
