I just got back. It was GREAT!!!! People were backed up down the mall. They said we didn’t have a permit and everyone started shouting, “WE OWN THE MALL”!! They backed down especially when they tried (but couldn’t) clear the roads.
I don’t think anyone in their wildest dreams expected this. The news media here was saying 10’s of thousands but everyone knew that was bogus. Someone said Chris Matthews reported 60,000 and we all laughed. Politicians are making a BIG mistake. This is a growing movement.
BTW-They did everything they could to make our lives difficult including fencing off areas and closing train stations. We still had a great time.
BTW-There were hundreds of thousands at the very least.

Wasn’t it a blast. Wasn’t the march awesome?! We we’re fired up. I remember them telling us to clear the roads for emergency vehicles. I was thinking - and just how is that supposed to happen? We were shoulder to shoulder.
On a funny note: Someone standing near me said - “Did you hear that NBC is reporting that there are 100 people here?” I was like “WHAT?!” But, he started laughing and said “Just kidding?” Because these days - you just never know what to expect from reporting.
