More than 40 people have pulled nomination papers for the empty U.S. senate seat, including Joseph A. Kennedy.
Kennedy, not to be confused with former Congressman Joseph P. Kennedy II, is registered as an unenrolled. He joins 42 other candidates who have hoofed it to the Secretary of States office because they want to run for the late U.S. Sen. Edward M. Kennedys seat.
There are 10 Democratic potential candidates including Attorney general Martha Coakley, and U.S. Reps Stephen Lynch and Michael Capuano 4 Republicans and 28 Unenrolled.
Looks like Former Sox pitcher Schilling will have a lot of company should he decide to run.
