I don't know, but several months ago I suggested a co-ordinated "non-protest" in D.C. during work time when neither the pres nor the press could ignore it. You have about 3 million people go to D.C. "unplanned" so that you don't request parade or speech requests. Drive OLD crappy cars that you can afford to leave there.

Then, when traffic is tied up, be prepared to abandon them and walk in. They can't arrest people who are just "visitors" who "happen" to break out in speeches, esp. if there are 3 million.

I haven't fleshed this out, but I think something like this could be incredibly effective. There aren't enough helos out there to ferry in the "lawmakers" and their staffs. It would resemble one of those French strikes.

Let’s see what happens in CONgress this week first.

I think it is a little early to assess the impact on them of what happened yesterday.

I like your concept. Total gridlock and nowhere to go...hoof it to the capitol.

I said that should happen during a State of the Dis-Union Address

“Drive OLD crappy cars that you can afford to leave there.”

NOW we see the motive behind Cash for Clunkers!

It would be a shame and a large distraction if some of those old clunkers happened to catch on fire. Fords are known for that.

This would give the conservative movement a bad reputation. What was done on 9/12 was marginalized by the MSM, but was classy and non-violent. That will go A LOT FURTHER with the people of this country, who we are getting to vote our way, than disrupting DC for a day.

I get mad when the anarchists disrupt cities. I see them as counter-productive. Your idea would get a lot of attention, but it would be negative attention and the independent voters we want to serve as model for, would be really turned off. JMHO.
