If anyone’s interested, the name of the musical piece in this is “Lux Aeterna (Requiem for a Dream)”, by Clint Mansell.

My kid has it on his iPod.

Regards,

Wow, I’d seen this before but not on the big screen — even more powerful. Wasn’t it created by a teenager? I believe his mom asked him to put something together and this was what he came up with in one afternoon.

When I first saw this video, I thought, “Gee, I know I’ve heard this music before,” but couldn’t place it. I thought perhaps it was the theme from a movie...maybe that John Adams movie on HBO, or even a minor theme from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”

Lo and behold, it was my own 13-year-old kid who provided the information. “Mom, don’t you remember? I have that on my iPod!”

(I don’t let him order his own songs for the iPod; I have to review and authorize everything on it, so I SHOULD have remembered it. Alas, Mom is getting old, it seems.)

Glad if the information was useful to you.

Regards,

Thx. I'm emailing this .wmv to my son-in-law as a possibility for remastering as another figure skating routine sound track for my granddaughter.

Oooo! It would make a GREAT skating routine song. Good luck, and if she does it, send me link to a video of it, ok? I’d love to see how it turned out.

Regards,
