I always wonder at these people claiming that “white” people are racist. Which white people? The Irish? The English? The Dutch? The Norwegians? The Finns? The Swedes? The Scots? The Celts? The Spanish? The Italians? The Sicilians? The Germans? The Slavs? The Magyar? The French? The Catalans? The Russians? The Ukrainians? The Georgians? The Danes? Which “white people” is it exactly who cause all this fuss? Who are all these troublemakers!

The whole “white people” thing is just seriously ridiculous. Completely absurd. MOVE ON.

Colin Powell was always a political opportunist. That is why he worked in every Republican Administration going back as far as NIXON. He more than any other African American posing as a Republican has benefited from Affirmative Action.

Clarence Thomas and Condolessa Rice may have also benefited from Affirmative Action but they also had an acquired talent with firm beliefs which developed over time based on principle and integrity. Powell went along for the ride until the train stopped.

It’s what happens when you elect the most liberal (read: socialist) member of the Senate with little discernible background to the highest office in the land.

His service is the reason I had respect for him all of these years. The only reason why I have more respect for Colin Powell than Scott McGregor is because of that service you speak of.

However, he played the system for what it's worth. As far as I am concerned, a real man like him should know better. He announced for OBAMA publicly on one of the MSM shows before setting aside some private time to tell John McCain what he was up to. John McCain helped establish Colin Powell's Military and Political Career aspirations like no one else in the U.S. Senate.

A real man does not do that. Only a weasel like Scott MacGregor does.

While I applaude these folks for trying to get the black community more involved with families, remove the beam from your own eye before commenting on the mote in your neighbors.
