Before airing this I’d imagine a team of lawyers reviewed the implications. If nothing else to protect Glenn and Foxnews.

ACORN must have known this was coming.

One of their first comments about this was that they attempted it in 5 other cities and were thrown out of the building/called police.

I would be really curious to know if some of the attempts did not work.

It's important to remember that restrictions on telephonic recording do not necessarily apply to video recording. IIRC, with the Linda Tripp deal, wasn't it a telephone conversation that was recorded with one of the principals in the State of Maryland?
