He is dead right.

But, not to say I told you so, but many of us warned that if we ran a faithless, worn out, inarticulate, unprincipled old man against an equally unprincipled but very articulate young man, we’d get our hat handed to us. Many of us warned that running McCain was begging for a train wreck.

Don’t make the same mistake again. Run someone who actually stands for something. Run someone who actually stands up and fights for what we believe in. Because if he won’t or can’t do that, he isn’t going to win the election, and if he does you still haven’t won anything.

No one who isn’t already in the fight against Obama now should even be considered for president. If we’re in the middle of the fight of the century, and they are sitting silent on the sidelines, they’ve no right to come calling two years from now. Speak up, get in the fight, or don’t even think about asking for my support.

McCain was already our nominee before we ever even got to my state in the primaries.

It was next to impossible for the GOP to win last year given: 1. A party has only held the WH for more than 8 years one time since ‘52 - Reagan-Bush; 2. W had horrible negatives; 3. the public was war weary; 4. a relentless MSM campaign that would’ve been unleashed against any GOPer; 5. The Sept. financial meltdown; 6. a unique opponent who was telegenic, evasive and due to his ethnicity, guaranteed to bring many people to the polls.

The only thing that McCain might have been able to do to turn the tide after Sept. was to come out against TARP.

“Don’t make the same mistake again.”

Remember Dole? That’s all the Republicans do.

I suspected that McLame got the early headstart from Dems crossing party lines to vote in the Rep primary. I don’t have any proof, but SO many of were unhappy with the choice...

Then again, out of the frontrunners there wasn’t really much of a choice last time anyway.

Perhaps we CONSERVATIVES should get involved in our state parties to oust these senators.

We can take the party back if we stop carping about RINOS and get out there and DO IT!!!!

Also—make sure the SOS in your state is a CONSERVATIVE. The commies have been very canny with their “Secretary of State” project getting Demons elected so they can perpetrate their voter fraud.

Quit conducting “open primaries” where people purposely vote for a liberal. How do you think we got McCain?
