ABC News reporter Terry Moran caused quite a commotion tonight on Twitter following after writing: "Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a "jackass" for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential."
Although it wasn't long before Moran removed it, with over a million followers, the tweet quickly bounced around Twitter through various users.
Now, an ABC spokesperson explains to POLITICO what happened:

This was done before our editorial process had been completed. That was wrong. We apologize to the White House and CNBC and are taking steps to ensure that it will not happen again." I guarantee that if it had been George Bush and not Obama who called Kanye a jackass, then it would NOT have been considered "off the record."

LOL! ABC claims this was part of an "off the record" segment of a CNBC interview, and APOLOGIZED to the White House saying it "will never happen again."
Wow, a triple play: 1) The MSM kissed the One's A$$ while 2) giving him a "Sister Soulja" moment 3) saying something NO ONE (even me!) can disagree with.
