Recent scandals look to have hurt Kyle and Jackie O's 2DAY FM breakfast radio show, with ratings figures showing a drop in listeners.
The latest survey, by Nielsen, shows that the audience dropped 2.2 percentage points from a 12 per cent share to 9.8 per cent in the period from June 28 until September 5.
The show remains the top rating Sydney FM breakfast show, but it was the biggest casualty in the early morning slot, losing about 35,000 listeners.
Sandilands and co-host Jackie O went off air for two weeks in August following the rape revelation scandal in which a 14-year-old was strapped to a lie detector and quizzed about her sexual history.
It is not clear whether the ratings fall is a result of Sandilands' fans tuning out because he was off air, or outrage over the scandal.
Sandilands was also suspended less than a week ago following a concentration camp jibe about comedian Magda Szubanski - but that was not within the ratings period.
The ratings show Nova 969 rivals Merrick and Rosso and Kate Ritchie have now closed the gap, with an 8.1 per cent share, after a decline 0.4 of a percentage point.
AM leader 2GB also had a decline in the breakfast slot, slipping 1.3 percentage points to have a 16.5 share.
Jason Morrison has been regularly filling in for breakfast king Alan Jones.
Adam Spencer at ABC 702 was up 0.5 of a percentage point to come in second in the timeslot with an 11.4 per cent share.
Overall, 2GB has the biggest audience share, followed by ABC702, 2DAYFM and 2UE.
I'm starting to dislike Kyle Sandilands, although I only still listen to 2Day FM for the music and to a lesser extent, the news, while sometimes I switch to Nova 96.9 or occasionally Triple M 104.9.
What do you think?
I think Jackie O is hot. What was the question?
Rape revelation scandal involving a 14 year old girl and her mother.
Kyle seems to be a jerk from the word go.
That said, he is probably more suitable to be the President of the United States than the person now occupying the Oval Office.
