The Ball is in Nancy's Court

Edited on 09/15/2009 6:34:26 AM PDT by Admin Moderator. [history]

What was virtually improbable a week ago, the Senate voted 83 - 7 to add an amendment to H.R.3288 (Title: Making appropriations for the Departments of Transportation, and Housing and Urban Development, and related agencies)that would cut funding to ACORN, the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

The amendment will now go before Nancy Pelosi and the House of Representatives. Will they bury the amendment, turn it down, ignore it or do the right thing: Pass it by an overwhelming majority. I can't wait to see who votes against this.

Or will "the powers that be" kill the whole thing, like he/they did when Rep. John Conyers tried to investigate these crooked organization earlier this year?

Casey’s office has an explanation for his vote against this amendment. “ACORN has never received any federal money” and “as a non-profit is not permitted to be involved in political activities.” In addition, because of the
aforementioned, the amendment was frivolous and not worthy of the Senator’s time. - Y’all can have at this one. I’m still stunned.

The irony of this is so heavy.
Just before Nancy Pelosi tries to punish Joe on the house floor, JOE ? Hey Joe ? you might want to remind Nancy Pelosi of those questionable DNC documents of the certification of Obama and Biden in Colorado last year and ask her " what is this all about ? " on the house floor.

Nancy Pelosi is about to prove very publicly, that she is not only a crooked politician, she is a criminal politician.

Nancy Pelosi is a criminal, and we all know it! Further proof about to be provided as she moves to defend the Democrat ACORN criminal organization.

Her various companies in CA need scrutinizing for tax dollars used and promises not kept. She is well versed in corruption from her dad. But, no press goes there!

Of course not. It's not on the way to Alaska.

Rep. John Conyers has already squashed one ACORN investigation because “the powers that be” told him to.

Don’t be surprised if this isn’t just some showboating by the dems, who will later add funding to them in some other way.

BTW...AS of 11:11 am this morning, still no word about ACORN on CNN.com since September 10th.
