Doesn’t matter: Wilson’s seat was impregnable even before this vote. You can’t be “even more impregnable than impregnable.” Multiplying infinity by infinity doesn’t accomplish anything.

[Snip] While Democrats said they were defending the rules of the House and enforcing the traditional decorum of the chamber, Republicans mounted a fierce attack on the resolution, saying it was a waste of time after Wilson had duly apologized to President Barack Obama for his outburst during a joint address to Congress. While a resolution of disapproval is little more than a slap on the wrist, a formal roll call vote like this permanently entered into the Congressional Record is extremely rare. [Snip]
[Snip] According to a C-SPAN count, 11 Democrats voted no on the resolution, and seven Republicans voted yes. [Snip]
Lets do it, another million by the end of the week.
Here’s one Freeper sending another donation to Joe Wilson’s campaign fund.
I Am Joe.
Nan’s cunning stunt.
Cool. I’d much rather they spend the next 3 years debating and voting on such resolutions than passing any more moronic legislation.
Joe Wilson spoke “TRUTH” to Power and was rebuked. Thats how far down this country has fallen. If you dare to question obama you are labled it is typical alinsky rules. Now can we also ask the House to rebuke Harry Reids comment that George W. Bush was a liar. Can we get Nancy Pelosi rebukded for her comments about the CIA lying? How bout Kerry and his telling people that our troops were raping and pillaging in Iraq? Can anyone hold an investigation on Murtha? Is William Jerfferson even going to do time for bribary?
America is falling apart at a rapid pace.
“Wear it as a badge of honor, Joe!”
Ditto...Ditto...Ditto!!!
Rep. Joe Wilson, I am proud of you.
Check is in the mail and I will not forget you.
The House is now officially on record as supporting liars to be President. Why don’t we just dispense with the oath of office in 2013? Clinton and Obama couldn’t tell the truth if their life depended on it, and the Democrats in the House are so ignorant, they can’t understand the ramifications of this fact.
I will be sending another donation next week, this is ridiculous.
I’m sending another $50.00. Go Joe!
Yep, I’ll be contributing again as well.
I wish he looked more like Francis Marion...
7 Republican votes for the resolution:
Cao
Emerson
Flake
Inglis (from South Carolina)
Jones
Petri
Rohrabacher
Seven republicans need to be removed in 2010.
Flake is kind of a surprise, no?
