I’m still amazed that if O’Keefe actually wore that outlandish pimp outfit into the ACORN offices, some of those dolts actually fell for it instead of thinking it was an early Halloween gag.
I think it was Sean Hannity who said the other night that O’Keefe had to be the most unconvincing pimp ever.
You have to remember, a lot of Pimps from the 60’s & 70’s dressed like that and were mostly of “African-American” origin. All the Folks at the East Coast offices have been of that persuasion, and I would hazzard a guess that they probably saw someone like that trundling through their neighborhood once in a while(remember the car the bad guys used in the James Bond movie “Live and Let Die?”). Wouldn’t be too much of a stretch for that.
And, there has been a “Pimp” halloween costume out on the market for at least 8 years that is more flamboyant than what he is wearing, and I’ve only seen it once or twice on a Caucasion person,..mostly it’s been worn by “African-Americans” (my old Supervisor at the Internet/Phone/TV company I worked for years ago came dressed to work in it for a halloween bash, and he was of that persuasion).
