ACORN vote fraud was already an issue in something like 16 states and now they want to know how deep the fraud runs. I say it runs all the way from the top to the bottom. Criminal activity is the reason ACORN exists, simple as that.

JMO, but there is not optional for the FBI, IRS, or Homeland Security to investigate. This is mandatory. ACORN, in multiple States, clearly offered to assist people who intended to import across the national border, and traffic across State lines, underage females for the purposes of prostitution, tax evasion, and money laundering.
Why Governor Schwarzenegger when the state of California has such financial woes?
Not that I am disappointed in the Governors attitude but isn't his outstanding directive a bit misplaced?
Or is he shoving the economy under the rug for politics sake?
What KIND of investigation? The kind where heads will roll, and ACORN will be thoroughly unfunded in CA? Or the kind where you pass the buck but the whole thing is quietly dropped?

ACORN is largely responsible for where our economy is now - or at any rate, for the mortgage crisis- and is also involved in voter fraud up one side and down the other.
No matter how limited the resources of CA are, this investigation is one of the best things he could do. Otherwise ACORN will continue to destroy the US...and California.
The act does not need to take place for a conspiracy. An example would be for someone to offer to pay money for someone else to pay for killing a business associate. The law does not require that the killing actually take place before an arrest can be made. ACORN offered assistance to break multiple laws. The laws don’t need to actually be broken for an investigation to begin.
Let’s go back in time and think about a bill pushed by Acorn and signed by Arnie that would help people avoid foreclosure.

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger wrote Attorney General Jerry Brown a letter today urging the state Department of Justice to investigate ACORN’s activities in California. ACORN, of course, is the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, an anti-poverty group under fire from conservatives for its election efforts and use of federal money.
“Over the past few days, I have seen a series of news stories regarding the ACORN organization that have concerned me greatly,” Schwarzenegger writes, noting that one report has come out of San Bernardino. “Given this, I believe it is appropriate that your office launch a full investigation into ACORN’s activities in California

Communist groups like ACORN and many others are as corrupt as our own government...Look at who the President of the United States is and who his associates are.
Fact is, groups like this are corrupt criminal tax parasites, that like our government, should be investigated thoroughly.
