Well, the St. Pete Pravda finally put the story on it’s online site this morning. Many comments say, “about time”...the stories only 5 days old. I don’t have a subscription, so I have no idea if it’s on the front page of the print edition.
I thought Jon Stewart’s rant was so spot on and pointed toward the MSM’s lack of jouranlistic skills.
The media ignored the controversy over the forged national guard memos for several days during the attempt to steal the 2004 campaign.
Remember Gore’s claim of “popular vote”? He got 0.52% majority. Half a percent. Bush took a dip in the polls on the eve of the election bcause of a report on his DWI charge decades prior.
If Dan Ratherbiased had held the story a few more weeks it could’ve thrown the election to the Rats in 2004.
A story doesn’t have to be right to sway opinion and a true story can be ignored for weeks.
The media lied BOTH times (including LYING by not reporitng on the controversy over the forged memos). AP and Rather both kept them as “true” news for several days.
