well i believe that as soon as they starve the people out of that valley the little fish wont matter anymore and a new owner will have purchased it for pennys on the dollar or less.
I can assure you that it IS about the potential loss of libert. I fought enviro-wackos during my entire career. Years ago, decades even, I was calling enviromentalism nothing more than Communism with a friendly face. Now, at last, the face is becoming unmasked but they’ve had a very long time to consolidate their support and their base.
Much of their base is made up of well-intentioned folks paying for slick, colorful “nature” type magazines (full of beautiful photos coupled with editorials of doom and gloom) which goes into their coffers for pushing draconian bills through our crooked Congress.
Props to Sean for covering this travesty.

I heard Hannity voice over pimping for Government Motors commercials.
Workers, taxers, shareholders all got raped on the GM bailout and Obama bust out.
The guy is a fraud. Greedhead. Fake. Not to mention a airhead, dumb.
First they came for the Klamath....remember the bucket brigade of 2001 when the BOR turned off the irrigation water to the Klamath Basin farmers for threatened sucker fish and salmon? Nothing was done to change that and now we have the Central Valley issue. This is just a continuation of the choke hold of fringe special interests allegedly speaking “for the environment” who have beeen inequitably empowered under lopsided environmental laws.
By the way, all the hundreds of thousands of acres burned in northern CA over the past few years is a direct result of environmentalists blocking management of our National Forests and the tremendous build up of forest fuels, brush dead and dying from insects and overcrowding. The unrealized disaster is that once burned, many of these forests are converting to permanent brushlands. The frequency of re-burn has escalated so new trees can’t get established.
As far as I know, NO ONE ELSE is covering this important story...

What I don’t understand is why all these people have not taken over those pumping stations and turned the water on and then defended those pumping stations!
I don’t understand why the Governor can’t just turn on the dang pumps and let the Fed be damned. Pull a 10th amendment or something on them. This is just nuts. I don’t think the people of TX would tolerate this and the people of CA shouldn’t either.
Sean Hannity just got his clock cleaned by his last guest, Zeke Grader. I don’t know if what Grader was saying was right or not, but Hannity simply ignored everything he said and looked terrible in the process.
What would happen if Arnold simply grew a pair and ordered CHP to open the pumps and arrest anyone who tried to turn them off again?

There were some reports on the fringe media a while back, but of course, it did not explain that it was a man made disaster.
This is exactly the type of story that needs to be shown to all Americans! We need to show the results of the Obama policies. Show people that the objective of the socialists is to put people into poverty. (Someone should do an interview with the people laid off from Acorn or something similar.)
Is it possible, that applying the same type of pressure that was used for the Acorn and Van Jones issues would work?
(calling congressmen, twittering, emails, Fox News coverage- and fringe media maybe - I bet Lou Dobbs would cover it.)
One of the things that was very impressive about exposing Acorn was the website created - big government. There must have been an effort by bloggers out there to write on their blogs about it too. Some of us were tweeting all day to keep Acorn a trending topic.
Maybe those other groups that were involved in the DC march like Freedom Works, etc, could be contacted to join in the effort.
If there is a march out in CA, the folks in the other organizations from the DC march could attend more easily than those of us in the midwest.
