Thanks! My friend and I are going to do this. It irritated her the other day when she got hired to a job and the form required her to show TWO FORMS of ID for her to be able to work. She said “I know a non-natural born citizen can get a license, but if they are so picky to make sure we are ‘legally eligible’ to work in the US, why does the President not have to do the same?”.

She is so clear headed and well informed—yet politically different. Hard to explain, but I respect her and her talents immensely.

Actually, it's quite simple. Paglia is an American first, liberal/Democrat second. Much like the Democrats of the 60s and early 70s, when America came first, it was just a matter of what method to achieve pre-eminence.

Modern liberals/Democrats put their own party and beliefs first, and seek to "equalize" America with the rest of the world. We shouldn't be pre-eminent, but just one of the we're-all-the-same-and-equal bunch of nations.

We need more liberals/Democrats like Paglia, or Zell Miller, or even the old school people like Scoop Jackson and JFK... At least America was first and foremost in their minds!

Paglia acknowledges her biases and personal politics and then renders gem after gem of insightful perspectives pro and con on both sides of the political debate.

She’s a tremendous mind and writer. I admire her a great deal.

Call Chuck and see if he will ask Obama to get you what you want. But, Orly is in court. Different standard.

parsy, who reiterates there is no evidence
