“I have taken all the Walter Lewin physics courses online and can say that he is a terrific teacher who simplifies an otherwise very complex subject.”

Probably true, but it won’t make up for all the high school and introductory university mathematics which I have long since largely forgotten. Oh, I’m sure I can still manage the basics of vector math and such, but caculus or advanced trig? Forget it. So I guess the first thing I’d have to take is a refresher in mathematics.

OpenCourseWare programs have video and texts for all the beginning and remedial courses too IIRC.

It's pretty amazing stuff...almost as good as online crossword puzzles.;-)
