Media Matters Launches Fight FOX Campaign
AmericanThinker ^ | September 18, 2009 | Kyle-Anne Shiver

Well, well, well look here what just popped up in my email. It's a memo from Media Matters President, Eric Burns. Yes, of course, I subscribe to Media Matters. One must always keep one's enemies close.

Our boy Eric has decided that the one lone TV voice crying in the wilderness in often dissenting fashion to our Dear Leader is one lone voice too many and has decided to launch a "Fight Fox" campaign.

"Dear Friend," Eric's letter begins, "Since President Obama's inauguration, Fox News has officially abandoned its already dubious standing as a news organization and is now engaging in outright political activism, completing its transition into the 24/7 media wing of the far-right conservative movement."

>>Fox is above all a business enterprise, so I’m guessing Eric does know why his contract wasn’t renewed. Dollars and cents. <<

He says on Wikipedia that it wasn’t ratings.
I suspect he became a whiny b!tch.

That was my question exactly. He had a show on Saturday afternoon with 4-5 other columnist and discussed a few issues.

Is this his revenge?

If Eric is as inept at this as he was as Moderator of Fox News Watch, Fox has no worries.

No wonder they fired him.

The same thing happened in Germany and the USSR. They learned well from their teachers.............but not well enough. We are not Germans or Russians. We don’t take kindly to anyone trying to tell us what to do.

Third world dictatorships must shut down media dissent. Is that what Media Matters is wanting to achieve?

I thought that dissent was patriotic? What say ye Hillary?

Isn't media Matters a Podesta / Hillary spawned beast? Or am I confused?

Soros has a whole group of alliances he funds through the Democracy Alliance.

Communists and authoritarian dictators LOVE the words democracy and democratic... Look at the way Chavez uses those words, and let's not forget the DDR - Deutsche Demokratische Republik - AKA East Germany.

They've seen the enemy and it is us, not Fox. But they don't have the clarity yet to know that.

Many people think that liberal commies don't know this or don't see that or have the misconception of...etc.

It's not true. The liberal commies know exactly who their enemies are, We The People. They just can't possibly acknowledge publicly that the "people" are against them. If they ever do, they will acknowledge and concede their eventual, thorough defeat before it happens in reality.

To people who are familiar with dictatorships and good 'ol Communist countries, did you ever read or heard a government and/or their captive Media mentioning that the "people" are "dissatisfied" or even “uneasy” with their policies? NEVER! No dissent whatsoever is allowed because of their inherent thin skin, lack of facts and legitimacy, and in 0b0z0’s case, an extra chip on the shoulder and lack of records. That, my Friends is a full description of dictators:

Here are some of the terms they use and their translation:

- "elements" = people with the connotation of criminal or unpatriotic

- "reactionaries" = patriots/conservatives

- "Some" (a favorite 0b0z0 word) = many or half the population

- "My guiding principles" (a staple communist term that was in a HC 0b0z0 speech) = my Marxist agenda

- "counter-productive" = anti-communist, period.

- "counter-revolutionary" = anti-regime, period.

- "working people" = captives to throw under the bus (ACORN, etc.)

- Crazies (Soviets institutionalized perfectly sane dissidents!) = Don’t listen to them, or just let them blab, they’ve got nothing, but watch out, they ARE violent.

Watch out, when you start hearing some of these words and expressions ad nauseam, a full-fledged dictatorship is inside the gates.

It’s the same way they vote the dead, stuff ballot boxes, cross over in the primaries etc. - their agenda can’t win on its own.

I have been trying to find when the Democrat Party became the Democratic Party. I was wondering if it was at the same time the Socialists and Communists became the Democratic Socialist Party of America. Just seems too convenient to now have the Democrats called Democratic.

Liberals love to co-opt words, e.g. gay for one.
