i’m no fan of the french. However, that munition malfunction (assuming this was not a training round) was lethal. You, I and any other american soldier would have quickly departed the area and sought cover should that have happened to us.

I think I saw this four or five years ago. Yeah, if that munition went off, we probably wouldn’t be seeing this video at all. Weird, but not really funny, to my way of thinking.

I remember at Ft. Sill when the 105 was first being introduced to us and the sergeant instructor on my gun caused the shell to hit about 100 meters in front of us, we weren’t sure what was going on but we could sure see the reaction of all the instructors and leaders, they were upset.
