Conservative pundit and best-selling author Michelle Malkin told several thousand anti-tax protesters gathered in Milwaukee on Saturday that their movement is about pushing back "against the culture of corruption in Washington."
"I've never been so proud in my lifetime to be part of this angry mob," Malkin said in a fiery keynote address at a Taxpayer Tea Party event at Veterans Park along the city's lakefront.
Malkin criticized political leaders and other figures, including President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, Attorney General Eric Holder, government 'czars,' "Republican sellouts" and union "thugs."
Ping...
Good Lord, look at that mob. Nice turnout and I’m glad to see the people still fired up.
Links to the videos are in there as well.
“Grandma” is a MOBster code word for “racist.” /s
Hubby and I are beginning to watch, Liberty - An American Revolution and IT IS INCREDIBLE. WORD FOR WORD WHATS GOING ON RIGHT NOW. ...Down to Glenn Beck at Tom Payne. If you exchange England for Obama and youve got the same feelings/passions/determination of the masses to stop the insanity thats going on right now. Its like a road map for our future. Its remarkably similar!!!! PLEASE EVERYONE WATCH THIS.
Michelle Malkin ROCKS......so glad she’s a conservative.
Babe with brains, heart and convictions....nothing finer...
Mike Tate, the Wisconsin Democratic Party chairman, downplayed the impact of the tea party movement. "These are extremist elements pulling together, distinct vocal minorities that frankly don't believe in this country," Tate said. "They don't want to see more people have access to quality affordable health care; they don't want clean air and water. They fundamentally don't understand how the American government, economy and capitalism work."
I love that MOB!!! God Bless each and every one of them!
Michelle for President? Uh, oh...
Before the Wisconsin Dems shot themselves in the foot by picking him, Mike Tate ran the pro-gay marriage group FairWisconsin. He once said that if he could get every voter to just think about the issue for 15 seconds, the gays would win hands down. He is a master of arrogant hate-spew.
I am so excited about what is happening across America with these Tea Parties and the HUGE numbers that marched in Washington. I had all but given up hope and thought that I was almost alone with my disgust for Washington corruption! Seems like way too many have been too silent for too long...heh. (How is that for too many too’s)...
I am so enthused by the millions of decent people finally coming out and protesting corrupt and outrageous government! As Michelle Obama said, This is the first time that I have been SO proud of my country...ha...
Oh and not to let business or the Republicans off the hook, I mean all corruption - this is a bi-partisan message to government and businesses! Get your act together or get lost! I am a Conservative - NOT Republican, and definitely NOT Democrat. Stand for the Constitution for go away!
Way to Go Milwaukee!!!!!
The Rolling Thunder Tea Party Tour coming back to a city near you!!
Pictures! You have any more? The creativity of those folks deserves to be seen!
Hurray! Vicki McKenna was going, too. Can’t wait to hear her re-cap come Monday. :)
“They fundamentally don’t understand how the American government, economy and capitalism work.”
ROFLMAO! Most of us DO understand how things work...and that’s makin’ the ‘Rats wet themselves, LOL!
Love it. Keep talking, Dems. Your true colors are pretty much out there now for all to see.
I’ve said it before, but I was quite worried that 0bama was elected. However, he’s doing SUCH a good job of p*ssing off true conservatives who are going to clean House (and Senate!) and various Statehouses come 2010, that he’s done our party a world of good. He was the kick in the @ss we needed. :)
Mike Tate is an idiot.
We’re having an effect. Rush mentioned on Friday a lib pollster has been told by some state Dem officials not to do polling in their state. They don’t want it to get out how badly Dems are polling.
