The latter....a parent NEVER gets wrong the name of a child...and especially so young a one....with such a serious, life-threatening condition. The event becomes synonymous with the child, unless the parent is an utter narcissist (heavy pro-abort bisexual would certainly fit).
The name he messed up on was NOT Sasha’s and it wasn’t during relating the story of meningitis, either.
