Pretty much what I was thinking. What better way to make sure the Olympic committee stays WELL AWAY from Chicago, than sending the Muppet to sway their opinion.

Before hearing this news I thought the risk of going to Copenhagen and being rejected by the IOC was too great for Obama to take, that’s why he sent michelle instead. He probably got word from someone that no Barack Obama In Copenhagen means no Chicago 2016. Just like when Bill Clinton went to North Korea, you don’t go unless an under the table deal has been reached beforehand.
