Leaving aside MSNBC’s assassination meme BS, *if* Beck is pushing the FEMA concentration camp story he certainly needs to be held at arms length.

When I first heard it it was mainly from the Perot people about how the New World Order would lock them all up, then they were supplanted by the general very far right wing who cried Bill Clinton was about to lock everybody with a gun up under y2k, then the right shut up while the very far left wing cried for 8 years GWB was about to lock up all the gays and subscribers to the New Republic.

In other word it’s a flashing neon sign for crackpot. Beck has and is doing wonderful things the last few weeks, but loose cannons can wind up shooting both ways.

You need to do much more homework -- Glenn has never pushed the FEMA story, he was the one who looked into the conspiracy and debunked it. You folks who help push the lies told by Beck's detractors, both Dem and GOP, do more damage to him than anything else.

Glenn thinks out loud and has been connecting the dots, not on his own, Breitbart provided him with the Van Jones and ACORN video footage because Andrew recognized the fact that Beck uses his airtime to inform the citizenry, not propagandize them. The rant from Scarborough last week along with this morning, he may now officially remove himself from contention. Even if he chooses to throw his hat in the 2012 race, he will not get the votes from those necessary to win a GOP nomination, ie., thinking conservatives who know what is at stake here.
